Hello, 

In an Excel Workbook created with an online Excel Survey, I've suddenly begun getting the following error message, even when I have one or several items selected to filter: 

The page at https://excel.officeapps.live.com says: 
At least one item has to be in the filter. 
Click OK, then select the check boxes for one or more items in the list.

The filter now only works if the 'All' box is selected. 

Screen capture is available.

[The above is true only when working in the Online version -- whether in Chrome, IE, or Firefox -- not in full Excel, where all seems to still function correctly.] 

Ideas?

Hi Greg,

I tested your issue in my own environment, and I found I can get the error result when the Fields were dragged in FILTERS area.

Please check if you also have the same reason about the issue.

If possible I suggest you upload a screenshot or a sample file so that I can get more accurate solutions to this problem.

Hello, Emi.

The error scenario you presented is the same one I was having. It so happens, when I opened the file moments ago and attempted a pivot table filter, it worked fine and I did not receive the error.

So, as long as it keeps working, I guess I'm ok, if a bit uneasy about the dependability of the program.
